About this fabric

This substantial 452 gsm fabric is suited to upholstery, with a softly textured ground that gives the pale colourway gentle depth rather than a flat blue appearance. Powder-blue leaves are layered with deeper blue-grey shading and ivory detailing, while delicate botanical outlines trail across the ground in a restrained repeating arrangement. The 129 cm usable width and 46.5 cm vertical by 64.5 cm horizontal pattern repeat provide clear planning measurements for upholstered pieces. Supplied in a standard 40 m length, the fabric has a recorded 26.8 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use Abella Powder Blue on a reading chair, headboard or upholstered bench where its cool, muted blue can lighten an ivory or warm-white room without becoming overly bright. Repeat the deeper blue-grey accents in piping, cushions or painted furniture for a considered layered finish.

Pair the cool powder-blue leaves with ivory upholstery, pale timber and soft grey accents for a light, quietly tailored scheme.
