At 540 gsm, this is a substantial velvet suited to upholstery, with a dense-looking nap that gives the colour noticeable depth. The pale blue-grey tone reads cool and muted rather than bright, while the directional pile produces softly shaded bands where the fabric folds. Its usable width is 141 cm. With a 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it presents as a plain surface without a motif to align.

How to use it
