About this fabric

This plain Harlequin velvet has a softly textured, short-looking pile visible across the swatch, with highlights moving between the folded bands and deeper blue-grey shading in the recesses. Its substantial 540 gsm weight makes it well suited to upholstery, particularly where a cushioned form can show the fabric’s changing light response. The usable width is 141 cm, offering practical coverage for furniture applications. No vertical or horizontal pattern repeat is supplied, so there is no motif to align.

How to use it

Use Glacier on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its cool blue-grey tone can temper warm timber, pale stone and brushed metal. Keep surrounding textiles tactile but restrained so the velvet’s icy surface remains the focus.
