About this fabric

This plain velvet has a dense, softly brushed pile that creates a subtly mottled surface in the close-up view. Its emerald tone reads cool and richly saturated, while the raised fold catches a brighter turquoise-green sheen against the deeper shaded areas. At 540 gsm and 141 cm usable width, it has the substantial weight expected of an upholstery velvet. Both pattern repeats are 0 cm, confirming a non-directional plain surface rather than a repeat motif.

How to use it

Use this deep emerald colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard, pairing it with warm timber and softly aged brass to balance its cool jewel tone. Its shifting highlights also suit curved upholstery where the pile can show tonal movement.
