About this fabric

This plain velvet has a short, even pile that creates the fine, velvety texture visible across the swatch, while the folded surface reveals bright coral highlights and deeper raspberry-pink shadows. At 540gsm, it has the substantial weight expected of a hard-wearing upholstery velvet. The fabric has a 141cm usable width and no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, making the uninterrupted colour especially easy to position across upholstered forms. The warm, saturated coral shade feels expressive and enveloping rather than pale or sugary.

How to use it

Use Performance Velvets Coral on a reading chair, ottoman or curved sofa where its warm coral-pink tone can become the room’s focal colour. Balance the saturated velvet with chalky neutrals, walnut timber or muted olive accents.
