Alessi Indigo

Alessi Indigo is a deep, near-black blue with a cool indigo cast. Its raised square-grid surface catches the light across the folds, revealing subtle shifts from blue-black shadow to softened blue.

About this fabric

The fabric shows a medium-scale grid of irregular rectangular outlines, giving the dark surface a structured geometric character. Its plush-looking face has a gentle sheen, particularly along the raised folds and ridges, while the recessed areas read almost black. The supplied record lists no composition, width or rub-test rating for this colourway.

How to use it

Use this cool, deep indigo on a statement armchair, sofa or ottoman where its tonal grid can be seen across curved upholstery. Pair it with smoky blue, charcoal and aged metal for a dark, tailored scheme.

A deep, softly lustrous indigo with a raised square-grid texture that brings depth to upholstered furniture.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Alessi Indigo without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
