Clevedon Mineral

Essential Colours II FabricBF10870.705

Clevedon Mineral has a pale greige ground with a finely drawn, repeating geometric pattern that shifts subtly between warm taupe and cool mineral grey. Its closely woven surface gives the design a calm, tailored character.

About this fabric

The small angular motif forms delicate chevrons and diamond-like pathways across the cloth, while the low-contrast colouring keeps the pattern quietly textured rather than graphic. The blend is 43% cotton, 32% viscose, 14% acrylic, 8% linen and 3% nylon, with a 140 cm width. A 4 cm vertical and 4 cm horizontal pattern repeat keeps the geometry easy to place on cushions, upholstery and bedspreads. Clevedon Mineral is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 35,000 Martindale rub test; it must be professionally dry cleaned and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use this pale mineral greige to bring a soft, cool-neutral layer to a tailored armchair, headboard or full-length curtain. It pairs naturally with chalky whites, pale oak, stone and muted sage accents, allowing the small geometric weave to add detail without dominating the room.

A quietly tailored greige geometric weave that works across upholstered pieces, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
