Canyon Indigo

Canyon Indigo presents as a muted taupe-grey textile with a fine, softly irregular weave and a gentle depth of colour. Its restrained surface keeps the look quietly tailored rather than decorative.

About this fabric

Woven from 52% viscose, 42% linen and 6% polyester, this 137 cm-wide fabric has a close-grained texture with subtle tonal variation across the taupe-grey ground. Although named Indigo, the photographed colour reads as a softened, earthy neutral rather than a saturated blue, making its appearance calm and understated. A 40,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for both fixed and loose upholstery, as well as curtains and bedspreads. Care requires professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Canyon Indigo on a tailored sofa, occasional chair or upholstered headboard where its cool taupe-grey tone can balance warmer timber and natural textures. It also works as a quiet curtain or bedspread fabric when a room needs depth without a strong pattern.

A quietly textured taupe-grey weave for tailored upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Pairs well with

Canyon Indigo is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
