Vintage Velvet Mink has a deep mink-taupe ground with subtle brown-grey variation across its softly brushed velvet surface. The close-up texture catches the light unevenly, giving this plain colourway gentle depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

Made from 95% polyester and 5% viscose, this velvet has a dense, plush appearance with a lightly mottled nap visible across the swatch. Its brown-grey taupe tone feels warm and subdued, while changes in direction create softly shaded areas through the pile. At 137 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered seating, while care requires professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this mink taupe on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its shaded pile can add quiet depth to a neutral scheme. It also brings a warm, grounded finish to full-length curtains or a coordinated bedspread.
