About this fabric

Vintage Velvet Delft has a subdued Delft blue-grey tone, with cloudy tonal variation that shifts gently across the pile. Its surface catches the light unevenly, creating a softly brushed finish rather than a printed pattern. Woven from 5% viscose and 95% polyester, it is 137 cm (53.82") wide. A 50,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for loose and fixed upholstery, while the stated uses also include curtains and bedspreads. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this cool slate-blue velvet on a reading chair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its cloudy depth can read as a quiet focal point. It can also bring a denser, light-catching finish to curtains or a tailored bedspread.
