About this fabric
The surface is a plain, closely woven cloth, with fine vertical and horizontal threads creating a softly textured finish. Its Baltic blue-grey tone reads cool and muted, while the slightly uneven weave prevents the dark colour from looking flat. Made from 45% Viscose, 35% Cotton, 16% Linen and 4% Polyester, it is 137 cm (53.82") wide. The 40,000 Martindale rub test supports its use for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; it must be professionally dry cleaned and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.
How to use it
Use this cool blue-grey on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard where its finely textured surface can add depth without introducing a pattern. It also gives curtains or a bedspread a calm, grounded finish, particularly alongside pale stone, warm timber or brushed metal.
A deep blue-grey plain weave with enough durability for upholstery and the versatility for curtains or bedspreads.

Pairs well with
Blizzard Baltic is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
