About this fabric

The slate-blue colourway combines a muted blue ground with cloudy blue-grey variation, giving the velvet a softly aged, non-uniform appearance. Changes in the surface pile create gentle tonal shifts rather than a defined printed motif. Made from 95% polyester and 5% viscose, it is 137 cm wide and suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its 50,000 Martindale rub test is specified alongside professional dry-clean-only care: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this cool slate-blue velvet to bring depth to a blue-grey seating scheme, or pair it with pale stone and warm timber to balance its cooler cast. Its softly clouded surface is suited to upholstered chairs, sofas, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.
