Vintage Velvet Peacock
Vintage Velvets VelvetBF10700.792
Vintage Velvet Peacock is a saturated blue-green velvet with a softly clouded surface that shifts subtly as the nap catches the light. Its rich peacock tone brings depth without relying on a printed motif.

About this fabric
Made from 95% polyester and 5% viscose, this 137cm-wide velvet has a dense-looking surface with gentle tonal variation visible across the teal pile. The colour sits between vivid turquoise and deep peacock blue-green, giving the cloth a cool, jewel-like presence. With a 50,000 Martindale rub test, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.
How to use it
Use this cool peacock teal on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard to create a saturated focal point, or carry it through to curtains and bedspreads for a deeper, coordinated scheme. Pair its blue-green depth with warm timber, aged brass or soft neutral walls to balance the jewel tone.

Pairs well with
Vintage Velvet Peacock is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
