Vintage Velvet Aqua has a cool aqua-teal ground with a softly mottled surface, giving the velvet a gently shaded, dimensional appearance. The nap catches the light unevenly across the swatch rather than reading as a flat colour.

About this fabric

This plush velvet shifts between pale aqua, blue-green and subtly deeper teal marks across its surface, creating a muted, atmospheric finish. The softly brushed texture gives the colour depth while retaining a calm, cool character. Made from 95% polyester and 5% viscose, the fabric is 137 cm (53.82") wide and is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered seating, while care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Vintage Velvet Aqua on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its cool blue-green tone can provide a soft focal point. It also brings a quietly luxurious finish to full-length curtains or a bedspread, especially alongside chalky whites, pale woods and warm brass.
