About this fabric
The pale sienna colour reads as a warm, subdued terracotta, softened by peachy variation rather than a bright orange saturation. Visible pile direction produces irregular lighter and darker patches across this plain velvet, giving the surface quiet depth and a soft light-catching effect. It is made from 95% polyester and 5% viscose, measures 137 cm (53.82") wide and achieves 50,000 Martindale rubs. The listed applications are curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.
How to use it
Use this warm pale sienna on an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard to bring a muted terracotta note into the room. Pair it with cream, aged timber and deeper rust or brown accents to echo the velvet’s tonal variation.
A softly mottled pale sienna velvet for upholstered seating, headboards, bedspreads and coordinating curtains.

Pairs well with
Vintage Velvet Pale Sienna is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
