Harwood Tomato

Baker House Textures FabricBF10958.450

Harwood Tomato is a warm, muted tomato-red woven fabric with a tightly repeated cream and stone geometric motif. The small-scale pattern creates a finely textured surface, with the pale threads gently lifting the depth of the red ground.

About this fabric

The close-set design forms narrow vertical runs of linked diamond shapes, giving the cloth a neat, architectural rhythm rather than a bold statement pattern. Its 48% viscose, 28% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester construction combines the softly varied appearance of the visible weave with practical versatility. At 139 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, and its 35,000 Martindale rub test supports regular upholstery use. The supplied care guidance is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Harwood Tomato on a tailored armchair or headboard where its warm red tone can act as a rich focal colour without overwhelming the room. It also makes smart curtains or a bedspread when paired with warm ivory, timber and aged brass.

Use this warm tomato-red geometric weave to bring tailored colour and subtle texture to upholstery, curtains or a bedspread.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Harwood Tomato without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
