Essential Colours II FabricBF10878.330
Grand Canyon Spice has a warm terracotta-brown ground with a softly muted, russet depth. Fine, closely woven V-shaped lines form narrow vertical columns, giving the surface a neat herringbone character.

About this fabric
The fabric’s small-scale chevron weave creates a subtle rhythm of lighter and darker spice threads across the surface, while the tactile construction keeps the pattern understated. Made from 42% viscose, 33% linen, 21% cotton and 4% polyester, it is 140 cm (55") wide. A 6 cm (2.36") horizontal pattern repeat keeps the design easy to place across upholstery and soft furnishings. With a 30,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.
How to use it
Use the warm terracotta spice tone to bring depth to a neutral sitting room, particularly on a tailored chair, sofa or bedspread. Its restrained vertical herringbone also makes it suitable for full-length curtains where a little woven texture is wanted without a bold motif.
A warm spice-toned woven check for upholstered pieces, curtains and bedspreads.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Grand Canyon Spice without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
