Harwood Soft Blue is a cool, pale blue-grey woven fabric with a tightly repeated geometric motif. Across the surface, fine pale threads form small diamond-like shapes, giving the cloth a quiet, tactile rhythm.

About this fabric

The blue-grey ground reads soft and muted rather than saturated, while the lighter woven pattern catches the light with a subtle, almost silvery lift. Its 1.5 cm vertical and 2.5 cm horizontal repeats create a small, orderly texture that remains delicate at close range. The fabric is composed of 48% viscose, 28% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester, with a 139 cm width. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, and has a 35,000 Martindale rub test.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-grey colourway to bring a calm, tailored note to an upholstered chair, headboard or sofa, pairing it with chalky whites, pale timber and softly contrasting grey-blue plains. Its fine repeat also makes it an understated choice for curtains or a coordinated bedspread.
