New Bradbourne Pale Aqua presents a cool, pale aqua ground crossed by evenly spaced vertical columns of delicate ivory leaf sprays. The low-contrast embroidery-like motif gives the surface a calm, lightly textured appearance.

About this fabric

The pale aqua background has a softly chalked, cool blue-green tone, while the ivory botanical trails provide gentle definition without overpowering the ground. Made from 64% linen, 30% polyester and 6% viscose, the 125 cm wide fabric is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its vertical pattern repeat is 20 cm and its horizontal repeat is 15 cm, creating a regular rhythm of slender leafy columns. A 14,000 Martindale rub test supports its use in upholstery, while care is dry clean only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the pale aqua as a cool, quiet base for a bedroom curtain or upholstered headboard, pairing it with ivory, chalk white and weathered timber. The small-scale vertical leaf columns can also bring gentle height to a loose chair or bedspread without making the room feel busy.
