Pentridge Indigo

Baker House Textures FabricBF10956.680

Pentridge Indigo has a softly mottled surface, where cool indigo-blue threads are blended with taupe-grey and muted sandy flecks. The close weave gives the swatch a quietly tactile, textile-led appearance rather than a printed pattern.

About this fabric

Woven from 46% cotton, 32% viscose, 18% linen and 4% polyester, this 140 cm (55") fabric has a fine, compact texture with subtle tonal variation across the surface. Its indigo reads softened and slightly greyed, with warmer taupe threads preventing the blue from becoming stark or overly saturated. Suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it has a 30,000 Martindale rub test for practical everyday seating use. After care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Pentridge Indigo on a relaxed armchair or sofa where its blue-grey depth can sit alongside warm oak, limestone and natural linen. As curtains or a bedspread, the small-scale weave adds visual texture without introducing a strong motif.

A finely mottled indigo textile that brings quiet depth to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
