Pentridge Shell

Baker House Textures FabricBF10956.401

Pentridge Shell has a warm shell-beige tone with a softly irregular woven surface. Fine intersecting threads create a subtle textile grid, while gentle tonal variation keeps the colour from looking flat.

About this fabric

This 140 cm (55") fabric combines 4% polyester, 46% cotton, 32% viscose and 18% linen in a fine, quietly textured weave. Its muted beige colouring reads warm and natural, with slightly deeper threads visible across the pale shell ground. Suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it offers useful flexibility across a room scheme. The fabric has a 30,000 Martindale rub test, and should be professionally dry cleaned rather than washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use Pentridge Shell to bring a warm, softly layered neutral to an upholstered chair, headboard or relaxed curtain. Its fine crosshatch texture works especially well with natural timber, chalky walls and other quiet beige or linen-toned finishes.

A warm, finely woven beige for relaxed upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
