Harwood Sand

Baker House Textures FabricBF10958.130

The Harwood Sand swatch shows a warm, sandy beige textile crossed by fine ivory zigzags that resolve into tiny diamond shapes. Its closely packed weave catches the light softly, giving the neutral colour more depth than a flat plain.

About this fabric

Harwood Sand has a tightly woven, small-scale geometric surface: pale cream lines form continuous zigzag diamonds over a warm sand-beige ground. The restrained contrast keeps the pattern delicate, while the close texture gives the cloth a softly tactile, lightly dimensional read. It is a 139 cm (54.61") wide blend of 48% viscose, 28% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester, with 1.5 cm vertical and 2.5 cm horizontal repeats. Specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it also records a 35,000 Martindale rub test. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this warm sand-and-cream colourway to soften tailored seating, headboards or bedspreads without losing a sense of order from the tiny geometric repeat. As curtains, its light neutral tone can add woven depth while keeping the surrounding scheme calm and understated.

A warm sand ground and fine cream geometry bring quiet texture to upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Harwood Sand without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
