Harwood Forest
Baker House Textures FabricBF10958.794
Harwood Forest has a softly muted taupe-olive ground crossed by closely spaced ivory diamond lines. The small geometric weave gives the surface a neat rhythm while retaining a gently tactile, textile-led appearance.

About this fabric
Woven from 48% viscose, 28% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester, Harwood Forest combines a softly mottled surface with its precise micro-diamond pattern. The taupe-olive colour reads warm and understated, while the lighter woven lines catch the light enough to define the repeated geometry without becoming high contrast. Its vertical pattern repeat is 1.5 cm and its horizontal repeat is 2.5 cm, creating a fine, closely distributed design. At 139 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 35,000 Martindale rub test. The fabric must be professionally dry cleaned and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.
How to use it
Use this quiet taupe-olive colourway to upholster a chair or headboard where its fine ivory geometry can add texture without dominating the room. It also makes composed curtains or a bedspread alongside warm timber, stone and softly coloured plains.
The muted taupe-olive ground and fine ivory diamond weave bring quiet pattern to curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Harwood Forest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
