Weathered Linen Heather has a dusky mauve-taupe appearance, softened by the irregular, tactile character of its closely woven linen surface. The fine crosshatch of the weave gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

Made from 100% linen, this plain woven fabric is 142.55 cm (56") wide and has a substantial, visibly textured surface. Its heathered taupe tone sits between weathered grey, muted mauve and soft brown, with lighter threads catching across the weave. A 50,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for both loose and fixed upholstery, as well as curtains and bedspreads. Care should be limited to professional dry cleaning: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this cool, muted mauve-taupe on a relaxed armchair, tailored sofa or upholstered bed, where its weathered linen texture can balance warmer timber and natural materials. It also brings quiet depth to full-length curtains without reading as stark grey or beige.
