About this fabric

Made from 55% cotton and 45% linen, this 137 cm-wide fabric has a fine, close-set stripe that alternates warm taupe, nutmeg and pale cream lines. The colour reads earthy rather than reddish, with the lighter threads catching the surface and gently breaking up the depth of the nutmeg ground. Its supplied 7 cm horizontal pattern repeat supports the regular, measured appearance of the design. The stated usage is curtains and bedspreads; after-care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use the warm nutmeg taupe as a grounding curtain colour against cream, oatmeal or natural timber, allowing the narrow cream stripes to add height without introducing a strong contrast. It also suits a tailored bedspread where the vertical line can be balanced with plain textured cushions.
