About this fabric

Woven from 100% linen and supplied at 138 cm (54.21") wide, this colourway has a light, natural surface rather than a flat white appearance. The chalk tone sits between ivory and the palest warm greige, with delicate tonal variation where the weave catches the light. Its plain construction keeps the look calm and adaptable while retaining the tactile character visible in the close-up. The fabric is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use Sarsden Chalk to soften a light, neutral room on relaxed curtains or a slipcovered chair, where its warm ivory tone will sit comfortably with timber, stone and faded natural colours. It also works as a quiet bedspread fabric when a softly textured, almost-white layer is wanted.
