Kit's Linen Cream

G P & J Baker X Kit Kemp Kit's Linen FabricBF11066.120

Kit's Linen Cream is a softly warm ivory textile with an understated, natural surface. In the close-up, its gentle tonal variation and fine slub give the plain cloth quiet depth without introducing a visible pattern.

About this fabric

Woven from 45% cotton, 40% linen and 15% rayon, this cream colourway has a soft, lightly irregular texture that keeps the pale shade from looking flat. The 137 cm (53.82") width suits curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 30,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered furniture, while the warm ivory tone remains calm and adaptable. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Kit's Linen Cream to upholster a relaxed armchair, headboard or sofa where its warm ivory tone can soften darker timber and bring light to the room. It also works as full-length curtains or a bedspread for a quiet, natural scheme.

A warm, quietly textured cream linen blend for relaxed upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Pairs well with

Kit's Linen Cream is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
