Hopton Nutmeg

Burford Weaves II FabricBF11086.250

Hopton Nutmeg has a warm, softly earthen appearance, with a tiny two-tone woven texture that gives the surface gentle depth. Its close-scale pattern reads as a refined neutral rather than a bold motif.

About this fabric

The fabric shows a tightly constructed micro-check or basket-like weave, combining nutmeg brown with lighter beige threads for a subtly variegated finish. It is woven from 37% Cotton, 32% Viscose, 19% Polyester and 12% Linen, giving the colourway a natural-looking surface with a restrained soft sheen. At 137 cm wide, it is suitable for Curtains, Loose Upholstery, Fixed Upholstery and Bedspreads. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered furniture; care requires professional dry cleaning, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this warm nutmeg taupe on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard to bring quiet depth to a neutral room. Its fine woven texture also works well as full-length curtains or a bedspread, especially alongside cream, timber and deeper brown accents.

A warm, finely woven neutral suited to tailored upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
