Hopton Coral

Burford Weaves II FabricBF11086.310

Hopton Coral has a softly glowing coral-peach ground, enlivened by a very fine woven texture that shifts subtly between warm coral and pale neutral threads. Its small-scale surface gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat, solid appearance.

About this fabric

Woven from 37% cotton, 32% viscose, 19% polyester and 12% linen, Hopton Coral has a close, finely grained construction with a discreet micro-check effect visible across the swatch. The coral tone is warm but softened with peach and light flecks, creating a muted brightness that reads welcoming rather than highly saturated. At 137 cm wide and rated to 50,000 Martindale rubs, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The fabric must not be washed, bleached or ironed, and requires professional dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use this warm coral-peach colourway to bring a gentle, sunlit note to an upholstered chair, bench or headboard, balancing it with chalky neutrals, pale timber and muted terracotta. Its fine texture also makes it effective as curtains or a bedspread where a quiet woven surface is preferred over a bold pattern.

A finely textured coral weave with the durability for upholstery and the versatility for curtains, bedspreads and loose covers.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
