About this fabric

This is a plain velvet with a softly shaded appearance, where the nap creates subtle darker and lighter bands rather than a printed motif. Court Velvet Amber is made from 72% viscose, 21% cotton and 7% polyester, with a 137 cm width. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, and has a 50,000 Martindale rub test. After care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this warm amber-rust shade to bring concentrated colour and plush texture to a reading chair, sofa or upholstered bed. It also makes a richly coloured curtain in rooms built around walnut, aged brass, tobacco leather or softly contrasting neutrals.
