About this fabric

The saturated sapphire tone reads almost midnight in the darker areas, while brushed highlights reveal softer blue across the velvet surface. Made from 72% Viscose, 21% Cotton and 7% Polyester, this fabric is 137 cm wide (53.82"). Its 50,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for both loose and fixed upholstery, as well as curtains and bedspreads. Care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this cool, smoky sapphire on a statement chair, sofa or headboard to bring depth to a room without the starkness of pure navy. Pair it with pale stone, warm timber and aged brass to draw out the velvet’s subtle purple-blue glow.
