Symington Stripe Indigo has a cool, deep indigo ground threaded with narrow vertical stripes in brown, taupe, muted rust and softer blue. The close-set bands create a finely ribbed, woven surface with understated visual movement.

About this fabric

Made from 100% cotton, this 137 cm (53.82") wide fabric combines indigo with earthy brown and muted rust lines, giving the stripe a gently softened, layered appearance rather than a high-contrast nautical effect. The narrow vertical bands and subtle woven grain make the colourway read as tailored and quietly textured. Its stated 27.4 cm (10.76") horizontal pattern repeat should be considered when planning joins and placement. Symington Stripe Indigo is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care instructions are to avoid washing, bleaching and ironing, with professional dry cleaning required.

How to use it

Use the cool indigo base to give a reading chair, headboard or loose-covered sofa a composed, tailored finish, then echo the warm brown and muted rust threads through timber, leather or small accent textiles. As curtains or a bedspread, its narrow vertical striping adds height without overwhelming the room.
