Tudor Stripe Indigo

Royal Court FabricBF11097.2

Tudor Stripe Indigo combines a deep, cool indigo ground with closely spaced vertical stripes in pale blue, white and muted rust. The narrow pattern creates a measured rhythm, while the woven surface gives the colour subtle depth.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven from 65% linen, 22% viscose and 13% polyester, with a 129 cm width and a 43 cm horizontal pattern repeat. In the swatch, fine pale-blue and white lines sit alongside small dotted details and restrained rust accents, all set against the saturated indigo base. The close stripe scale reads tailored rather than bold, with the cool blue tones holding the design together as the warmer lines add quiet contrast. Its specified usage is curtains and bedspreads; after care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use Tudor Stripe Indigo for full-length curtains or a neatly made bedspread where its cool indigo tone can anchor pale linens, chalky walls and natural timber. Echo the muted rust pinstripes with small warm-toned accents rather than introducing a competing strong colour.

A finely striped indigo textile with enough structure for tailored curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
