About this fabric

Made from 72% viscose, 21% cotton and 7% polyester, this velvet has a 137 cm width and a 50,000 Martindale rub test. The shade sits between softened blue and grey, with a slightly dusky cast that avoids looking bright or saturated. Directional pile catches the light in cloudy patches, giving the otherwise plain surface a restrained tonal movement. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-grey on a reading chair, headboard or tailored sofa where the velvet nap can show its shifting tone. It also brings a calm, slightly atmospheric note to curtains or a bedspread alongside chalky whites, pale timber and deeper charcoal accents.
