Hopton Aqua

Burford Weaves II FabricBF11086.725

Hopton Aqua presents a softly mottled aqua-blue ground with fine beige and pale neutral threads woven closely across the surface. Its tiny checked texture gives the colourway gentle depth without introducing a bold motif.

About this fabric

The finely grained weave reads as a cool, softened aqua blue, subtly broken up by beige flecks that prevent it from appearing flat or overly saturated. Close up, the interlaced threads create a small-scale micro-check effect and a lightly tactile surface. It is made from 37% Cotton, 32% Viscose, 19% Polyester and 12% Linen. At 137 cm wide and tested to 50,000 Martindale rubs, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Aftercare requires professional dry cleaning only; it should not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use this muted aqua in a cool sitting room or bedroom where its beige flecks can connect with natural wood, pale stone and warm neutral upholstery. Its small-scale weave also works well on a generously upholstered chair, sofa or bedspread without dominating the room.

A cool, finely woven aqua textile with subtle beige variation, suitable for upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
