Hopton Ochre

Burford Weaves II FabricBF11086.840

Hopton Ochre has a warm, honeyed ochre ground with a tiny, closely spaced woven check visible across the swatch. Its fine crosshatch texture gives the golden colour gentle variation rather than a flat, solid appearance.

About this fabric

The small-scale weave combines ochre, tan and muted golden threads in a compact, even texture that reads warm and softly dimensional. Made from 37% cotton, 32% viscose, 19% polyester and 12% linen, it has a balanced woven handle suited to both decorative and practical applications. The 137 cm (53.82") width is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. With a 50,000 Martindale rub test, this colourway has the specification for hard-working upholstery while retaining the refined look of a fine textile weave.

How to use it

Use the warm ochre-gold tone to bring sunlit depth to an armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, pairing it with natural linens, walnut or dark-painted timber. Its fine micro-check texture also makes it effective as softly tailored curtains or a coordinating bedspread.

A warm, finely woven ochre textile with the durability for upholstery and the versatility for curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
