About this fabric

The large-scale pattern features elegant long-tailed birds among peony-like blooms, leafy stems and layered cloud motifs, with the cool blue-grey drawing standing out against the saturated ochre background. Woven in 100% linen at 133 cm wide, this colourway has the natural, lightly textured character visible across the swatch. Its vertical pattern repeat is 78 cm and its horizontal repeat is 66.5 cm, allowing the recurring birds and floral groupings to be planned accurately. With a 20,000 Martindale rub test and usage listed for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it is suitable for both decorative and practical interior applications.

How to use it

Use the warm ochre ground to bring depth to a study, drawing room or bedroom, then echo the blue-grey birds in painted furniture, plain upholstery or woven accessories. Full-length curtains will show the vertical movement of the birds and foliage, while upholstery can frame the larger floral and cloud groupings.
