Ikat Bokhara Rose/Green

Chifu FabricBP10853.4

Ikat Bokhara Rose/Green combines a muted dusty-rose ground with sage, cream and restrained red-green details in a repeating ikat-style pattern. The woven surface gives the design a softly tactile, slightly irregular character.

About this fabric

Made from 49% Viscose, 26% Linen, 17% Cotton and 8% Polyester, this 130 cm-wide fabric has a softly textured woven appearance. Its 69 cm vertical repeat and 26 cm horizontal repeat organise elongated paisley and ogee motifs into a balanced, medium-scale arrangement. The rose tone reads warm and subdued rather than bright, while sage green brings a cool, organic contrast and the cream detailing lightens the overall pattern. Suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it has a 20,000 Martindale rub test; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use the dusty rose ground to warm a bedroom or sitting room, pairing it with chalky cream, sage paint or aged timber. The cream motifs can also be picked out in plain cushions or curtain linings for a quieter layered scheme.

A softly textured ikat with dusty rose, sage green and cream, equally suited to curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
