Portobello Red/Blue combines a warm natural-ivory linen ground with finely detailed vertical bands in muted red, blue and teal. Repeated paisley motifs sit between ornate floral and geometric stripes, giving the cloth a richly patterned, columnar appearance.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen and supplied at 132 cm wide, this colourway has a natural slub that remains visible beneath the printed-looking paisley and stripe detail. The warm ivory ground keeps the design light, while brick red, dusty blue and deeper teal accents give the pattern cool depth without making it feel stark. Its 24 cm vertical repeat and 66 cm horizontal repeat create clearly ordered panels across the cloth. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; after care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use the warm ivory ground to soften a room with painted furniture, then echo the muted brick red in cushions or piping. The vertical banding can frame curtains effectively, while the paisley columns bring decorative focus to an upholstered chair, headboard or bedspread.
