Kingham Red/ Blue

Portobello FabricBP10903.1

Kingham Red/Blue brings a warm cream ground alive with richly coloured red and blue blooms, scrolling foliage and small scattered sprigs. The overall effect is decorative yet softened by the slightly natural-looking ground.

About this fabric

The design features large paisley-like floral heads in coral red, deep red and blue, interspersed with sage, olive and muted pink details. Fine stems, leaves and miniature blossoms fill the cream background, giving the repeat a layered, established feel rather than a sparse arrangement. This linen-blend fabric is 89% linen, 9% viscose and 2% polyester, with a 129 cm width and a 79 cm vertical pattern repeat. Its supplied usage is curtains and bedspreads, while professional dry cleaning is required; it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the warm cream ground to connect Kingham Red/Blue with natural timber, painted cabinetry and relaxed neutrals, then echo its deeper red through cushions or a bed throw. Its 79 cm vertical repeat makes the full floral rhythm especially effective in generous curtain lengths or a coordinated bedspread.

A traditional red, blue and cream floral for curtains and bedspreads, with a softly decorative country-house character.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
