Chifu Velvet Charcoal/Multi sets an intricate arrangement of long-tailed birds, flowers, cloud forms and curling foliage against a deep charcoal ground. Coral, rust, ochre, teal and muted green details bring colour into the otherwise shadowed design.

About this fabric

Against the deep charcoal ground, stylised long-tailed birds, cloud motifs, curling leaves and full flowers create a densely illustrated repeat in rust, ochre, coral, teal and muted green. The dark base gives this colourway a cool, atmospheric depth, while the warm flower heads and red accents provide vivid points of contrast. This velvet is composed of 90% cotton and 10% polyester and measures 133 cm (52.25") wide. Its 77 cm (30.25") vertical repeat and 66.5 cm (26.13") horizontal repeat suit curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the charcoal ground as a dramatic anchor on an occasional chair, headboard or tailored curtain, then pick up the coral and ochre flowers with plain cushions or painted woodwork. The teal and muted green details also sit comfortably with deep green, warm brown and aged brass.
