Ikat Bokhara Teal

Chifu FabricBP10853.3

Ikat Bokhara Teal is built around a cool, muted teal ground, overlaid with repeated rust-red, cream and olive ikat motifs. The softly irregular edges and visible woven texture give the pattern a crafted, tactile character.

About this fabric

The design alternates elongated pointed motifs with smaller tear-drop forms, creating a rhythmic vertical layout across the cloth. Rust and terracotta accents bring warmth to the teal, while cream and muted olive details lighten the overall effect without making it feel bright. Made from 49% Viscose, 26% Linen, 17% Cotton and 8% Polyester, the 130 cm wide fabric has a 69 cm vertical repeat and a 26 cm horizontal repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 20,000 Martindale rub test. After care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the cool teal ground to anchor a sitting room or bedroom, then pick up the rust-red motifs with terracotta cushions or painted wood. Cream accents in the pattern can soften the scheme, while olive notes introduce a quieter, earthy contrast.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
