Patola Paisley Aqua pairs a softly muted aqua-teal ground with closely arranged coral paisleys, each picked out with cream and rust-toned detail. The cool background gives the pattern a fresh, gently weathered appearance rather than a high-contrast feel.

About this fabric

The small paisley motifs are distributed evenly across the cloth, with warm coral, terracotta and pale flecks standing clearly against the blue-green ground. A fine woven texture is visible beneath the printed-looking motif, adding subtle depth as the aqua shade catches the light. Made from 82% viscose and 18% linen, the 138 cm (54.21") width has a 24 cm (9.43") vertical repeat and an 11.5 cm (4.52") horizontal repeat. With a 50,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the cool aqua-teal ground to lighten a traditional room, then echo the coral paisleys in piping, cushions or a warm terracotta accent chair. Its compact repeat is easy to place across upholstered pieces while retaining a lively, tailored look on curtains or bedspreads.
