Indienne Flower Blue is a softly detailed botanical print on a warm ivory linen ground. The varied blue flowers range from pale cornflower to deeper inked blue, giving the pattern a gently timeworn, illustrative character.

About this fabric

Printed across 100% linen, this colourway combines serrated leaves, fine sprigs and layered flower heads in cool blue tones, with the ivory ground keeping the overall effect light. The larger blooms create a medium-scale pattern with a 68cm vertical repeat and 44cm horizontal repeat. At 133cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 25,000 Martindale rub rating. The fabric must not be washed, bleached or ironed and requires professional dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use the dusty blue and ivory combination to soften a bedroom headboard or loose-covered chair, then repeat the deeper blue in plain cushions or painted joinery. As curtains, the floral arrangement makes a relaxed traditional statement without overwhelming a pale room.
