Ikat Bokhara Linen Emerald

Caspian FabricBP10939.2

Ikat Bokhara Linen Emerald is a richly detailed textile with a muted emerald-green ground and repeating ikat forms in ivory, blue, taupe and olive. The patterned surface has a tactile, softly irregular linen character that gives the colourway depth rather than a flat green finish.

About this fabric

This 100% linen fabric is 133 cm wide and has a substantial 70 cm vertical pattern repeat with a 26.5 cm horizontal repeat. The design places elongated teardrops and stylised floral motifs in orderly vertical rows, with pale ivory outlines setting off blue-grey and taupe centres against the emerald ground. Its 30,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The muted green palette feels composed and slightly cool, while the varied woven-looking marks keep the large repeat visually lively.

How to use it

Use the emerald ground as a refined colour anchor on a reading chair, sofa or upholstered headboard, pairing it with warm ivory, aged timber and blue-grey accents. As curtains or a bedspread, its large vertical repeat can bring pattern and structure without relying on a brighter, more saturated green.

A richly patterned emerald linen for tailored upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ikat Bokhara Linen Emerald without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
