Tulip & Jasmine Cotton Emerald

Original Brantwood Fabric FabricBP10977.1

Tulip & Jasmine Cotton Emerald layers cream tulips and pale sage leaves over a deep emerald ground, with small red, blue and yellow flowers woven through the dense botanical repeat. The colourway has a cool, garden-like depth while the lighter foliage keeps the design open.

About this fabric

Printed on 100% cotton, this 138 cm-wide fabric features a 34 cm vertical repeat and 34.5 cm horizontal repeat, giving the scrolling stems and tulip heads a clearly defined medium-scale rhythm. In the image, the emerald background reads as deep and slightly blue-green, offset by chalky cream blooms, muted sage leaves and lively jewel-toned flower accents. Its 20,000 Martindale rub test supports use for fixed and loose upholstery as well as curtains and bedspreads. The supplied care instructions are professional dry clean only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the emerald ground to bring depth to a reading chair, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme, pairing it with warm cream upholstery and natural timber. Pick out the small red or yellow flowers in cushions or piping for a more collected look.

A richly patterned cotton for curtains, upholstery and bedspreads, with an emerald ground and softly contrasting floral detail.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tulip & Jasmine Cotton Emerald without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
