Wriggle Room Sage

G P & J Baker X Kit Kemp Prints & Embroideries FabricBP11050.1

Wriggle Room Sage combines muted sage chevrons with fine ochre-toned linear details on a softly warm cream ground. The close-set vertical layout gives the swatch a neat, rhythmic character without overwhelming its pale colour palette.

About this fabric

The design is formed from repeating vertical bands: soft sage-green zigzags sit between delicate cream and warm ochre lines, creating a finely structured stripe. Made from 82% viscose and 18% linen, this 137 cm wide fabric is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its vertical pattern repeat is 21 cm and its horizontal pattern repeat is 15 cm, allowing the chevron rhythm to remain clearly legible across larger applications. For care, it must not be washed, bleached or ironed and should be professionally dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use the muted sage as a calm accent on a window seat, occasional chair or upholstered headboard, then repeat the cream ground through surrounding upholstery or bed linen. The fine ochre detailing also works with warm timber and aged brass without making the scheme feel strongly yellow.

A refined sage-and-cream stripe for curtains, upholstery and coordinated bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Wriggle Room Sage without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
