Poppy Sprig Green/Blue

House Small Prints FabricBP11003.2

Poppy Sprig Green/Blue pairs a soft, pale sage-green ground with closely spaced blue floral sprigs. The small motifs are arranged in even rows, while the woven surface gives the colourway a gently tactile, natural appearance.

About this fabric

This fabric is composed of 82% viscose and 18% linen, with a 135 cm (53.04") width. Its delicate blue sprigs have a slightly cool, greyed quality against the muted green background, creating a fresh but softened contrast rather than a bright botanical effect. The pattern has a 15 cm (5.89") vertical repeat and a 27 cm (10.61") horizontal repeat, keeping the small-scale design easy to place across curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care is specified as professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the sage-green ground to soften a relaxed bedroom or sitting room, repeating the blue detail through painted furniture, plain linens or muted blue-grey accents. Its small repeat works neatly on upholstered pieces as well as full-height curtains and bedspreads.

The cool sage ground and blue sprigs bring a quiet, garden-like freshness to curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Poppy Sprig Green/Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
