Poppy Sprig Blue has a softly faded blue ground covered with closely spaced miniature floral sprigs. Fine darker outlines and small pale accents give the pattern a gently illustrated, slightly vintage character.

About this fabric

The cool blue background reads as muted rather than vivid, with charcoal-blue, cream and darker navy details defining each small floral motif. A subtle textile texture remains visible between the repeats, keeping the overall surface soft and understated. Made from 82% viscose and 18% linen, the fabric is 135 cm wide and has a 15 cm vertical pattern repeat with a 27 cm horizontal repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use this calm dusty-blue colourway for curtains in a light room, or upholster a smaller occasional chair where the closely spaced floral repeat can be appreciated at close range. Pair it with chalky neutrals, soft grey-blue and aged wood rather than bright, high-contrast accents.

The cool dusty-blue ground and petite floral repeat suit relaxed curtains, upholstered pieces and coordinated bedspreads.
