About this colour

This shade reads cool and restrained, with enough grey in it to keep the blue from feeling bright or sugary. On a wall, #8596AA lifts the room gently rather than opening it up dramatically, so it suits spaces that need a calm, settled tone. In north-facing light it can feel slightly steelier and more shadowed, while in south-facing rooms the blue becomes clearer and the grey softens.
